LOUISVILLE PAVING AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TIMELINE

Design of this project consists of twenty 4 x 6 foot acrylic panels. An LED backlit “road” travels across all panels that span three walls in the main lobby. The timeline tells the Dougherty family story of Louisville Paving with its beginnings in coal sales to today as one of the regions largest paving and construction companies. Each panel shares company and family highlights, as well as regional and international historical events from 1900 to present. The lower photo portion of the panels begins in 1910 with coal and becomes asphalt as it turns the corner moving into the 1970s. The final panel houses a monitor for videos and other messaging.
